Sizing & Fitting
Q: How do I ensure I choose the correct size?
A: We provide a detailed “Size Guide” on every product page. Since our silhouettes range from tailored to oversized, we recommend measuring your bust, waist, and hips and comparing them to our specific garment measurements rather than relying on standard UK/US sizing.
Q: Are your garments true to size?
A: Most of our SilkNest essentials are designed with a contemporary fit. If a piece is designed to be slim-fitting or exceptionally loose, this will be explicitly mentioned in the “Designer’s Note” section of the product description.
Material Care
Q: Can I machine wash my silk or delicate items?
A: To preserve the natural sheen and longevity of our silk fabrics, we strictly recommend professional dry cleaning or a very gentle hand wash with specialized silk detergent. Avoid wringing or direct sunlight during drying.
Q: Does SilkNest use ethically sourced fabrics?
A: Yes. We are committed to sustainability. Our silk is sourced from certified ethical producers, and our organic cotton range is GOTS certified to ensure environmental and social responsibility.
Boutique Orders
Q: Do you offer luxury gift wrapping?
A: Certainly. During checkout, you can select our “Signature Gift Box” option. Your items will be wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and placed in a premium SilkNest embossed box with an optional handwritten note.
Q: Can I modify my order after it has been placed?
A: We process orders rapidly to ensure timely delivery. You have a 2-hour window to contact us for any modifications. Once the order reaches our packing team, changes are no longer possible.
Returns & Exchanges
Q: What if the color looks different than on the website?
A: We shoot our collections in natural light to be as accurate as possible. However, due to different screen calibrations (mobile vs. desktop), slight variations may occur. If you are unhappy with the shade, you may return it under our 30-day policy.
Q: Are returns free?
A: We offer free returns only for defective items. For style or size preferences, the customer is responsible for return postage to our UK facility.
